Overview
Advanced Composite Products & Technology (ACPT) is a recognized industry leader and innovator in the design and manufacturing of filament wound and hand laid up composites for defense, space, and communications market segments. Early in their history, ACPT designed and provided driveshafts for APEX’s All American Racers division for Dan Gurney, an American racing legend. Since then, the company has designed and produced specialized drive shafts for defense ground vehicles, naval vessels as well as continuing to support the specialized car racing industry and other commercial vehicle requirements. While drive shafts are a core business for ACPT, they also provide other critical composites components such as: pressure tanks, landing leg actuation arms, fuel line supports, satellite launch tubes, satellite struts and much more. In 2019, ACPT expanded to a second facility in Schofield Wisconsin for high rate production of filament wound parts. In 2024, ACPT broke ground on a new secure facility to support classified programs.
The Difference is Quality
Cutting-edge products that survive in the most extreme abusive and corrosive environments are only some of the products that are a result of this commitment. Our detailed and in depth understanding of Aviation, Space and Defense has proved that light weight and durable products that perform at the highest level always lead as the dominant or preferred choice.
ACPT has been producing a wide range of parts for space flight since the Space Shuttle program. Our customers choose us because of our proven ability to provide reliable, cost effective and often complex solutions for their program.
Aside from various pressure vessels and winding applications, our technical competence in bonding dissimilar materials under various environmental and performance conditions makes us the supplier of choice for many space/rocket programs. Contact us today to discuss your specific needs.
