Overview

Unitech Composites (Unitech) was formed to supply composite products to NASA’s Space Shuttle program. Unitech has since branched out to support all segments of the aerospace market, with a focus on the defense sector’s fixed wing and rotary aircraft as well as space and uncrewed systems. The company excels in composite engineering and manufacturing of complex composite lamination assemblies that require machining and inspection to extremely tight tolerances. As a result, Unitech offers a wide selection of products including brackets, ECS ducting, panels, fairings, winglets, landing leg components, launch vehicle fuel dome separators, belly pods nose radomes and more.

Unitech’s expectation is to be the preeminent supplier of composite components for the defense and aerospace markets by meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations for On Time Delivery and Quality. We provide turnkey solutions to our customers by creating solutions together through our engineering and new product development teams. While others talk about On Time Delivery and Quality, Unitech lives and breathes this every day. We are singularly focused on customer performance and solutions together in order to be the standard in execution for composite manufacturing.

Our Design & Engineering teams are eager to work with our customers to create new solutions and products. We’re excellent in converting metal components to composite materials and creating the tooling required to manufacture the parts. The result being better performance in terms of weight reduction, transmissivity, cost, etc.

Our manufacturing offerings are turnkey. We offer Hand Layup composite manufacturing and after the part is cured, we machine the part to the final dimensions using our 5 Axis CNC Machines with tight tolerance capability. We then paint and assemble all components for the final product configuration. Finally, we inspect using our Non Destructive Inspection/Testing (NDI/NDT) tanks to ensure that we deliver the highest quality solutions to our customers.
